Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paul Metzger. After a lenghty career in the criminal justice / law enforcement arena I recently retired as a supervisor with the Osceola County Forensic Drug Testing Laboratory. My lab position of eleven years required court appearances as well as one on one contact with judges, attorneys and clients. Hence, I am quite familiar with both civil and criminal court and the art of testifying.
Prior to moving to Orlando I graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police training center at Lackawanna College, Scranton, Pennsylvania. I served as a Patrol Sergeant, Detective and Juvenile Officer in Luzerne County. My state police specialized training included crime scene investigation and crime scene photography.
In 1995 I relocated to Orlando. Prior to the lab position, I was employed by the Department of Juvenile Justice and as an adult probation officer with Osceola County. Prior to retiring I was an instructor for the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association and an active member of the Florida division of the International Association of Identification.
